This pretty Antique late Victorian cluster ring was made Circa 1900. It is crowned with a fabulous royal blue 0.18ct Sapphire in the centre haloed by eight sparkling Diamonds which are 0.08ct each making a total of approx. 0.64ct.
Blue Sapphire is said to be a stone of truth, wisdom and strength and has been adored throughout history for its deep royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The stones are arranged in a lovely flower shaped design and set in a Yellow Gold gallery which is stamped 18ct and has turned a desirable rosy hue with age. It would make a wonderful engagement ring.
